We think it's the best pizza around. It's a cozy place with a pretty good bar and local live music most nights. There are a few outdoor seats. Parking is on the street and can occasionally be a challenge.

My favorite restaurant in Asheville and the best Indian food around. Cool downtown location across the street from public parking. Great lunch buffet which is about 80% vegetarian. Excellent bar and very professional, friendly service.

I've included this because it's where I get pulled pork and fried catfish. It's all good, so if you're recovering from a day at the Biltmore, stop by for a platter and good local beer selection. Indoor and outdoor seating. There is another location with the same menu, but I like the vibe of the Sweeten Creek location. Tell Khristen, JT, Nicole, Jess, or Duncan that Chris sent you.. it might get you a free dessert or beer.

Best Mexican food in Asheville. Great beer deals (volume beers) and typical enormous meals. My favorite is the tableside guacamole (made fresh while you watch). Ask for Ivan and tell him Chris sent you!

It's my favorite seafood place in town, if you don't count Moe's fried catfish! Really good beer and drink selection and live music most nights. It can get pricey for large groups and families, but has always been worth it to me.

Really tasty upscale dishes. Food is really good, atmosphere can be a little pretentious, but generally as cool as your server.
I'm not a fan of the brunch, but dinner (reservations recommended) is very, very good.

Closest grocery to house. It's the southern version of Krogers. It's complete (including pharmacy), a little more than Walmart and other big box groceries and requires an "Ingles Card" to get a lot of the sale items.
