A great space to sit outdoors on the deck and overlook Portage Lake when the weather permits. Indoor lounge area with fireplace. Board and card games encouraged. Late night hang out for local college crowd. They don't serve food but encourage you to support the local delivery restaurants by having your delivery order delivered to the brewery and right to your table - pizza, sandwiches, Chinese, if you can find a restaurant that delivers you are in luck that it will deliver to you at the brewery - no having to send someone chasing for your food. Oh, and did I mention the selection craft beers they have on tap?!? Take a growler to go before you leave at the end of the night.

Nice beach for swimming, boating and fishing and a short drive from Houghton. It can get crowded during major holiday weekends due to the campground associated with the park area. Makes for a nice day trip.
