We can sail you to the emerald bay where you can view the vikingsholm and the teahouse on top of fannette island from the sailboat. Very comfortable! This is a private sailing experience for you, meaning you will have the entire boat to your party. The only rules of the sailboat, are NO stepping on the cushions. No Spray sunscreen onboard. (Spray sunscreen coats the fiberglass decks, making it very slippery and dangerous) Have as much fun as you want! Sailing etiquette highly supports tipping the skipper! (Which you will be 100% refunded) Safety First! Your experience includes unlimited beverages, alcoholic and nonalcoholic! On our walk we will look at some ancient Indian acorn grinding rocks. Cold drinks, a pie & ice cream will be offered on the shady lawn at the end of the tour. In the summer guests could take a refreshing swim in the swimming pool. A small pool is available for young children. Minimum group size is 2. Other things to note: During the rainy season rain boots are best since the fields can be muddy. Good walking shoes or boots are best during the dry seasons. The walk is on somewhat uneven lawns and pathways so if you have difficulties walking bring a cane or special shoes.

Pedal through placer county on the low traffic locals route
Buckle your helmet and roll with me along Placer County’s best roads! Join me for a beautiful bike ride through rolling hills, quiet country roads, and even vistas of Folsom Lake and the Sierra Mountain range. We will start in the foothills, cycle along quite roads that parallel orchards, and take the locals only route;) to avoid the little traffic there is. Unless you are opposed, we will stop for a coffee/water stop mid ride at one of our little local cafés, NOT a Starbucks. I always like to make the route easier, after the coffee stop, so the majority of the ride will be prior to the stop. I LOVE to ride with all levels of cyclist from ALL different backgrounds, SO, if this sounds amazing but you only want to ride 15 miles, we can make the perfect route for you. On the other hand, if you are itching for a big day, I can make you 60,70+ mile routes if you are crazy:) any and all level cyclist are welcome and we will make sure the route matches what you are capable of:) If you have a Mountain bike, I love those too! We have TONs of sweet single track and trail right in our little valley. If you would rather pedal dirt, the excursion will follow those same guidelines but we will ride local, well maintained, single track, and we can do a little as a3 mile loop or ride all the way around Folsom lake on dirt! If you are lucky, I’ll take you on trails I built myself;)
Yosemite Cider Orchard Tour and Tasting

Learn about what makes our 19 varieties of apples so special (and why you probably don't want to eat them), a brief history of American cider, some slightly embellished tales about the local wildlife, and some jokes that will either make you laugh or groan, depending on the weather. Then kick back at our tasting room to enjoy some bar games, beautiful views and a meet and greet with some really nice dogs and some really goaty goats. Oh, and cider of course. You'll get to drink cider. One sip, and you'll understand why call it "Campfire Champagne."

There will be ample opportunities to engage with your furry friends and take photos of the landscape as well as the alpacas. Other things to note: the Alpaca Trek is not suitable for children under 12. Must be able to physically walk/hike up a moderately sloped trail while leading 150+ pound alpaca. Fire under the stars--The Art of Raku
Book an exciting Airbnb raku experience. Although the raku experience is spectacular at night, it is equally amazing during the daytime. Please contact us if you would prefer an afternoon experience. Each guest will choose three bisqued ceramic pieces ready for glazing. Glaze will be supplied along with instructions on how to apply. After glazing, pieces are placed in the kiln ready to Raku. This process is the rapid firing of ceramic pieces. While the pieces are being fired, the guests will be outfitted with gloves and instructed on how to pull their pieces from the kiln with the tongs. When the kiln reaches optimum temperature, the lid is lifted exposing red hot pieces. The guests will remove pieces from kiln placing them in combustion chambers. After pieces are removed from chambers and cleaned, the guests will get to keep them in memory of their visit to the beautiful Central Coast. Other things to note: Although Raku is a fun and exciting process, guests must be able to follow instructions and work in concert with each other while pulling ceramic pieces from hot kiln.

Lake Tahoe-Hike year round with a Local
I would love to be your Tahoe local friend and lead you on a 2 mile hike to a beautiful overlook of Emerald Bay and the ENTIRE Lake Tahoe basin. In my 23 years of living here, I have explored many of the trails and much of shoreline around Tahoe and this vantage point is one of my favorites. Also available for the sunrise, sunset, and/or moonrise! Great for groups and team building. Beginner and kid friendly too. Intermediate-level hike available too. The experience begins with a paved walk on a campground road. Then the trail turns to dirt with a slight incline for about ¼ mile until we get to the lookout point. After, we can return on a dirt trail or on the paved road or if there is time, we can choose a longer route. If you are visiting Tahoe during the winter time, the hike will most likely be covered in snow. Snow boots or hiking boots will be needed. I can bring a sled to help tow the kiddos. The hike may be weather dependent due to heavy snowfall. My goal is to make sure that you have an unforgettable visit to Lake Tahoe and that you leave with tons of photos (I will take the photos and then give them to you via your phone). We will keep our impact to the area minimal with Leave No Trace principles and choose non-peak hiking times. I am happy to try and accommodate mobility challenged/differently abled folks on the hike.
Snowshoe Hike in Tahoe National Forest
On this adventure, we will be hiking with snowshoes, immersing ourselves in the forest on a homemade secluded winter trail. Starting, we will spend 1 hour of hiking up 800’ in elevation at a relaxed and enjoyable pace. Up the mountain, we go through uninterrupted Tahoe National Forest. Guiding through the alpine scenery I’ll be sharing stories of the area, history, as well as local flora and fauna. Roughly halfway, we reach one of the highlights of the hike and the scenic reward of Pauly’s Point, an outcropping of rocks, and our highest point of the adventure. From here, world-renowned ski resorts of Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are in full view as they nestle into the Sierra Nevada mountains. Breathtaking scenery surrounds us as we take a break for a snack. On our way down, we will take roughly an hour to meander our way back down the mountain through a variety of high alpine meadows, finishing a loop as we reach the end. Due to the seclusion, seeing another person is highly unlikely. So step off the beaten path and allow me to show you a true mountain outing you won’t surely forget. This hike is suitable for all ability level. However, due to the elevation gain, uneven surfaces, and ever-changing snow conditions. This hike is considered intermediate- moderate in difficulty so be ready to break a little sweat. All who attend will be rewarded greatly by the experience. Other things to note Eat, Hydrate, and use the restroom prior to the hike. No restroom is available at our meeting location. Make sure to have proper footwear for walking through snow for up to 3 hours. A water bottle or camelback is highly recommended for the hike.
