It's a beautiful area and very interesting museum. We also have Museu de Arte Moderna Aterro do Flamengo. After, late afternoon, you can visit Sugar Loaf, Praia Vermelha, Urca. Teatro Municipal downtown Rio is beautiful and if you luck you can catch special ballet "Corpo" or "Debra Colker"

Take the metro go until Carioca Station, take the VLT, go to the Estacao dos Museus. There is an excellent spot in Rio.

The museum itself is largely pointless, but it is in a nice building and it is worth while visiting.

The Museum of Tomorrow is an incredible science museum that has been recently opened in Rio. The space is very captivating with its stunning modern architecture. The museum offers interesting and unique exhibitions.
