This unique botanical preserve is comprised of over 300 acres of rich cove forest with over 310 species of wildflowers and plants (a few that are rare), spring-fed streams and a moderate 1/4-mile trail to a 90 ft. waterfall.

You need to include a trip to Pearson Falls if you visit the area. It's an easy, short hike so young and old can handle it. Plan to travel on up the mountain to Saluda to enjoy a meal at the Purple Onion and then plan to spend an hour or two in the downtown shops.
