Who doesn't love Hawaiian cuisine in the mountains? Their poke bowl is a favorite of ours, and we usually start with at least one of the pu-pu appetizers, since they're all fun and delicious. Whatever you do, make sure you save room for dessert, because their owner and pastry chef Melissa Gray was featured on the NETFLIX show Sugar Rush, and she makes some of the best sweets in town!

Shoo..this place is fancy and so delicious. We actually know the owner who is world-famous chef (she was even on tv!). Hawaiian foods with out-of-this-world desserts.

RosaBees is an Asheville gem! Excellent Polynesian food inspired by a trip the owner took to Hawaii. Try the poke, mochi fried chicken, and or musubi with house made SPAM. My go-to dish is the shoyu tofu. As an added bonus, it's in the heart of the Foundry area of the River Art District so you can have lunch at RosaBees, spends a few hours strolling the 80 adjacent art studies and shops, then walk to 12 Bones for dinner or to the Wedge for a beer and grill cheese.
