The first floor of the Old Marshall Jail is home to Zadie’s Market, which offers the freshest products from local farms alongside specialty goods, a bar, restaurant and an expansive patio with a view of the French Broad River. A Marshall must see! It really was a functioning jail until 2012. It has been converted into a hotel, market, restaurant, and bar.

Inside the Old Marshall Jail house they have created a unique bar, restaurant, Zadies! Its a must see. A great place to hang out while listening to live music. Veggie & Vegan friendly.

This old jail has been recently converted into an AirBnB, restaurant, and market. It is right on the French Broad River and has great views of the river and bridge and downtown Marshall. Mostly outdoors, so bring your jacket if its cold!

Believe it or not, this is a fantastic restaurant with a back patio to die for. Sit riverside while sipping a local hard cider or farm-to-table entrees.
