The Virginia Horse Center is a 600 acre state-of-the-art environment for horse shows and other livestock events. The Virginia Horse Center has twelve show rings, including the 150' x 300' indoor Waldron Arena in the Howard P. Anderson Coliseum. There is a five mile cross country course, and such amenities as a campground, a restaurant and catering service with banquet facilities and a gift shop. Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Virginia Horse Center hosts horse shows throughout the year. Every discipline and breed shows take place here. There are also BMX and dog agility shows too. Free to enter and walk around. The cross country makes for an excellent spectator event.

A large indoor and outdoor arena for events, mainly horse events, but also hosts other events like car shows, RV and boat shows etc. Really well maintained, ample parking, and just great grounds for a horse show. Check their calendar to see if there is anything going on during your stay.
