Brevard county is a couple hour drive from Robbinsville, but so worth the time to get there! Multiple water falls of incredible beauty from the easy hike to more challenging, a brief visit to the Brevard Visitors Center will get you driving and hiking maps based on what you like. Great day trip opportunity!

A beautiful small town about a 45 minute drive from the River House. A vintage soda shop, toy store, and antique shop are just a few of the things that Main Street has to offer.

Brevard is home to over 100 waterfalls, world renowned Fly Fishing on the Davidson River, Pisgah National Forrest and home to the White Squirrel. Be sure to enjoy the quaint downtown shops and restaurants while you visit.

Brevard is a quaint small town in WNC. While it is small, it has a nice historic downtown area with plenty of shops and restaurants to check out. Brevard is also a gateway to a very popular section of Pisgah National Forest that gives access to Looking Glass Rock, Davidson River, Cradle of Forestry, and Looking Glass Falls. Check out Eucusta Brewery or Oscar Blues Brewery after your outdoor adventures. Many hikers and mountain bikers continue past Brevard in order to access Dupont State Forest for many more great hikes with access to waterfalls and a variety of terrain.
