They have two locations. One downtown on the Plaza Grande and the second one on Paseo Montejo. Founded in 1907, the family continues the tradition and still uses original recipes from the founder Senor Vicente Rodríguez Peláez for their gelatos and sorbets. This is a favorite with locals and travelers alike. The sorbets made with the exotic local fruits are fantastic! Try the mamey flavor or corn!

Esta heladería es una tradicion en Mérida, tiene mas de 100 años de antigüedad, sirven helados, sorbetes, champolas (vaso de leche con helado) y postres, aunque ya hay en otras partes de la ciudad, esta es la primera y mas antigua y esta en Paseo de Montejo y esas vistas no se superan fácil, prueba el sorbete de mamey.
