We might be biased, but Asheville/Hendersonville offers some of the best food of any place we've ever lived. We've mentioned a few of our favorites, but really we could go on forever! If you're looking for something specific, just ask!

This local winery is one of our favorite places in town. Open until 7pm it’s the perfect place to take in the mountain views and watch the sunset before grabbing dinner or enjoying the hot tub!

Outdoor Adventures
We spend most of our free time exploring the outdoors so whether you're into hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, or tubing, you've got lots to choose from! If you're looking for a specific trail, make sure to enter directions to that trailhead as some of the parks are large and have multiple parking lots.
The Cottage is less than 30 minutes away from DuPont State Forest which is packed full of epic hikes, mountain biking and waterfalls. Some of our favorite hikes include High Falls and Triple Falls, Stone Mountain, and the Corn Shoals Falls area - Cedar Mountain is a great view! Make sure to type directions to your trailhead in before going because there are multiple parking lots and really weak cell service.

There is plenty to fill your time in WNC! Taking a day to explore downtown Asheville and Hendersonville is a great place to start - but don't stop there! We also recommend Brevard, Lake Lure, and Black Mountain!
If you're coming to Asheville, chances are someone has told you to visit the Biltmore House! The estate passes are pricey but the house tour, gardens, hiking trails, estate winery, and restaurants are definitely worth a full day excursion!
