White Duck has great tacos and has indoor dining plus a lot of picnic tables outside on the banks of the French Broad river. Peaceful and relaxed. They serve beer, wine and a limited bar.

I love crazy taco flavors, so if you're like me and you get excited by the idea of banh mi tofu, Korean beef bulgogi, and lamb gyro tacos on the menu, then you'll love White Duck. (Amber’s favorite is the Thai Peanut chicken.) They have a couple locations in Asheville, but the River Arts District location is away from downtown, so it's usually less busy, and they have a great outdoor area to sit and enjoy your meal.

Grab tacos for lunch at white duck taco. They have several locations but we like the one along the river best — if you go tubing, you can plan to end up here as there is a spot on the river to get out here.
