There are several outfitters who rent rafts and provide pickup for tubing the Little River that runs through Townsend. This is the biggest summer family activity in town. For $10-$15 per person you can enjoy the beauty and mild rapids of this cool river for as much of the day as you like.

A float from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park back to our building. This is not a lazy river! You will experience calm and peaceful areas, as well as some rapids. We have it all! From the longest float on the upper river to a swimming hole with picnics tables, yard games and fire pits! We have it all for your outdoor tubing experience!
