Blue Cow has both traditional and inventive, artisanal ice cream flavors that you can't find anywhere else. The Roanoke Valley Greenway can also be accessed from their back deck and provides a great, scenic walk.

Charming ice cream shop near Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Blue Cow has unique/fun flavors that you wont find anywhere else. Enjoy a cone outside ! it is located ON the Roanoke River!!! Really fun date!

Excellent local ice cream made on site. You can get there walking the greenway, which I recommend in summer. Look for a bike rack on the left side of trail with a short switch back path leading up to Blue Clow.
