Another favorite hike out in Gorges State Park. It's an out-and-back hike totalling about 5 miles, but there isn't too much climbing involved.

There are also some great spots in Gorges State Park, but that is a little more of a drive. Rainbow Falls is probably the most popular one, which is a huge waterfall. You can swim there or go father up the river to Turtle Back Falls which has a natural slide off a waterfall. Very cool and highly recommended. This hike is a 4.5-mile hike in and out. I would suggest caution around Turtle Back Falls. It can be very dangerous to newcomers, but with the right precaution, can be a fun time.

Moderate Difficulty/1.5 miles do Rainbow and 1 additional miles to Turtleback/About 80 minutes total. 125-foot drop sprays a rainbow mist in the sunlight.

Beautiful waterfalls, hike is moderate and the trail is about an hour away.

Our favorite hike of all! It's a moderate 4.1 mile in/out hike with an amazing waterfall at the end. Family and Fur baby friendly! No strollers... leave the very little ones at home unless you carry them.
