Regardless of whether he is there in person or not, this place takes Chinese food to the next level. The dry-fried eggplant is a knock-out (I don’t even like eggplant), and the scallion bubble pancakes are not to be missed, just for the spectacle!

This place has amazing Sichuan food and, since it’s a well-established restaurant, it’s pretty easy to get a table without a reservation. I love the hot and numbing shredded tofu skin and the steamed soup dumplings.

Incredible Chinese food. Peter Chang is a legend and Charlottesville is super lucky to have him here! A short drive away but well worth it.

Unique Chinese fare. "Grandma Homestyle" menu is a fave. The bubble pancake is fun to eat!
