Very close to town and not near as busy as Banff. There is the lower falls and then a trail that goes above the lower to the upper falls - worth the extra effort to go to the upper but it is steeper terrain on the upper

This trail begins beyond the Kananaskis Village at the Stoney Day Use Area. The short hike is less than 2km and passes through a beautiful deciduous aspen forest and is a perfect opportunity for your friends and family to get out and experience Kananaskis country. • Food Pairing: After this gentle hike, everyone may be hungry. Perfect for after the Troll Falls is Canmore’s Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. Flatbread offers fresh-from-the-forest and local and sustainably sourced ingredients to fill up.
