Owen Park is a great place to walk, jog, fish, take the pup, sit by the river and adjoins to the Warren Wilson College Trails. Its only 5 mins away.

Scenic trails/paths that run around a pond, then continues through the woods right alongside the Swannanoa River. The trail has the option to cut through Warren Wilson College farm where you can see livestock.

This park is awesome. Its tricky to find because its hidden behind a weird warehouse. It has a figure 8 loop around the lake that equals a mile. It also attaches to the Warren Wilson hiking trail so its a great place to park and start the trail! Its a great place to run. Not that I do because I get winded on my way to the mailbox. Note: MY MAILBOX IS NOT FAR

You pass the sign for this park at the intersection of Warren Wilson Rd and Bee Tree Rd 5 min from here. There is a pretty pond and a nice easy loop. At the backside of the loop you can connect to the Warren Wilson trails that run along the Swannanoa River.
