Top Soil is a farm to table restaurant in downtown Travelers Rest. A bit pricey, but worth it for a splurge. Need reservations. Tip: Try their brunch on Sunday. Affordable, and very good! Also need reservations! Nicer casual dress is great.

This place is a farm to table TR favorite with live Jazz on Thursday nights! The restaurant owns a farm and most of their produce comes directly from there. Everything about Topsoil is LOCAL. Besides a great wine list, their cocktails looked delicious. We will have to return and try one out. We absolutely loved the Cheese Board and the Market Salad to start. The evening we went, the seafood option was a lovely Rainbow Trout. Thumbs up! Unfortunately, we also had the Brasstown Flatiron Steak and it was a bit disappointing. Besides that, everything else was excellent and the service is top notch! May return and try the Ribeye for Two.
