Its wine cellar is considered the oldest in the city, dating back to 80 BC, and now contains almost 1,000 bottles. On the menu you’ll find comforting and innovative dishes such as stracciatella di bufala with tomato confit and bread crumbs and braised pork with apple purée. If that isn’t enough to get you excited, Spirito DiVino is even part of the Slow Food Movement which supports traditional methods of agriculture and purchases products from local farmers.

A nicer ‘gourmet’ restaurant in the really old, charming part of Trastevere.Perhaps their greatest strength is that they start serving dinner at 6:30pm,great if you think dinner after 8 pm is too late
