Green River Cover is a scenic trail with trout fishing, river crossings, birds, and a variety of wildflowers. The difficulty level is moderate due to the amount of climbing. Unfortunately, the trail does not provide a lookout when you reach the top. If you complete the entire trail it's 5.6 miles, although if you follow the application, i.e. All Trails it states 6.5 miles, with an elevation gain of roughly 1072.8 feet. The route type is out and back. The trail is appropriate for teenagers and leashed dogs. We give the trail ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. The trail is equipped for mountain biking 🚵♀️ , hiking 🥾 , bird 🦅 watching, fishing 🎣 , and trail running 🏃♀️.

This hike is delightful! Most of the time you are hiking along the creek. The beginning of the trail is an uphill jaunt but then it levels out. The drive to get there is easy but be ready for several hairpin turns.
